Book your ideal parking space at Leeds Bradford Airport (LBA)
With around 4 million passengers every year, Leeds Bradford Airport is one of the smaller international airports in Britain. Like most British airports, Leeds Bradford offers a wide range of parking options. To help you choose the ideal parking space for you and your vehicle, our parking providers have put together a handy guide full of useful hints and tips.
There are two options for pick-up and drop-off at Leeds Bradford; the free One Hour Parking Zone and the Terminal Front Express Carpark. Visitors can park for a free hour at the Whitehouse Lane One Hour Parking Zone which is a two minute drive from the terminal doors and a four-minute walk. However, those in a rush looking to minimise the distance between their car and the terminal can pay to be in the Terminal Front Express Carpark. If you require longer than an hour it’s recommended that you book short-stay parking.
Visitors requiring short-stay parking can choose between a standard package and Premium Short-Stay parking, with Premium Short-Stay parking including access to the Fast Track security area for up to four people. If you’re planning on leaving your car for longer than 24 hours, it’s recommended that you consider more cost-effective long-stay parking.
Long-stay parking at Leeds Bradford is located slightly further from the terminal than short-stay. Regular shuttle buses ferry passengers between the terminal and the long-stay parking, so you can be sure that the distance won’t be an issue.
Leeds Bradford Airport only has a single terminal so there’s no need to worry about which carpark to use – every carpark has good travel links to and from the terminal.
While it’s true that Leeds Bradford is a much smaller airport than many travel hubs in Britain, many of its carparks are also smaller by comparison. If you want to ensure you’ll get the best space at a reasonable price the only way is to book online.
Make use of the free One Hour Parking Zone: Few airports offer free parking within a five-minute walk of the terminal so it’s well worth making use of the facility, especially when picking-up and dropping-off.
Check for traffic: As the airport is located near the A658, A660 and the city of Leeds, there can be issues caused by traffic when getting to and from the airport. Make sure to check local traffic reports and give yourself plenty of time to travel.
