MAG FastTrack Security Lane Beneficiary Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions apply to FastTrack Lane users at Manchester, Stansted and East Midlands International Airports who have been permitted and / or granted use of such facilities through MAG-authorised third-party agreements.

These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to such beneficiary use of FastTrack Lanes.

1. General

1.1 These Terms are the version that apply to FastTrack Lane users using such facilities through MAG-authorised third-party agreements. For the avoidance of doubt, the Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the Airport with respect to your use of the FastTrack Lanes and set out the entirety of the relevant airport’s obligations to such FastTrack Lane users.

1.2 These Terms are governed by English law and any dispute between us will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in either the Scottish or the English courts. If you live in Northern Ireland you can bring legal proceedings in respect of the products in either the Northern Irish or the English courts.

1.3 In these Terms, references to "the Airport" are references to either:

a) Manchester Airport Plc (Company number: 01960988) which is incorporated in England. The registered office is FAO Sylvia Welsh Manchester Professional Services Limited, PO BOX 532, Town Hall, Manchester, M60 2LA;

b) Stansted Airport Limited (Company number: 1990920) which is incorporated in England. The registered office is London Stansted Airport, Enterprise House, Bassingbourne Road, Essex, United Kingdom, CM24 1QW; and

c) East Midlands International Airport Limited (Company number: 02078271) which is incorporated in England. The registered office is Building 34, East Midlands Airport, Castle Donnington Derby, East Midlands, DE74 2SA

as applicable dependent upon which Airport at which you are using services.

1.4 In these Terms "you" and "your" refer to one person who uses the FastTrack Lanes and "we" and "us" refers to the applicable Airport, as described above.

1.5 Manchester Airport Plc, Stansted Airport Limited and East Midlands International Airport Limited are subsidiaries of MAG Airport Limited (MAG) which is registered for VAT under number 707 7228 31.

1.6 The Airport reserves the right, without notice, to amend the specification of the products or services referred in the Terms and to discontinue any product or service and all beneficiary use of the FastTrack Lanes are subject to this right.

1.7 The Airport reserves the right to change these Terms at any time.

1.8 No person has any authority to vary or alter these Terms and Conditions unless such variation is in writing under the hand of the Company Secretary or a Director of the applicable Airport.

2. Cancellations

2.1 We reserve the right if prevented from supplying the FastTrack Lanes for any reason to cancel the provision of the same to beneficiary users. In such instances, we will attempt to provide as much notice as is possible.

2.2 For the avoidance of doubt and in any event, we do not accept liability to you for any failure by us to perform our obligations due nor will we be responsible to you for any costs which may be incurred as a result of cancellation of provision of the FastTrack Lanes.

3. General Conditions of Use

Access

3.1 The Airport does not guarantee availability of the FastTrack Lanes or a maximum or minimum queue length or time, or that the FastTrack Lanes queue time will be less than the standard lanes. Regardless of whether you purchase FastTrack Lanes, all passengers are subject to the same security procedures and regulations and we therefore recommend that you allow enough time for the standard security and x-ray screening.

3.2 Accordingly, once you have proceeded through the FastTrack Lanes and entered the security search area you are subject to the same rigorous security checks that all passengers must undertake. The same restrictions apply to items prohibited in your hand luggage and on the size and type of liquids you are allowed to carry.

3.3 Further, use of the FastTrack Lanes does not guarantee entry to the departure lounge. All applicable security procedures, rules and regulations apply to their full extent and such access will be governed strictly in accordance therewith.

3.4 Due to regulatory restrictions, we are also unable to provide use of the FastTrack Lanes to customers travelling with child transport accessories (including pushchairs, prams and car seats). All customers travelling with child transport accessories will be directed to the standard security lanes for all departing customers.

3.5 For the avoidance of doubt, the Airport and its servants and agents reserve the right to refuse admittance to the FastTrack Lanes.

Liability

3.6 We will act with reasonable skill and care in providing access to the FastTrack Lanes. Nothing in these terms and conditions limits our liability in the case of death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or in the case of fraud.

3.7 We will not be responsible for any costs, compensation costs or expenses relating to any flights or other services that you may have arranged. You are responsible for ensuring that you allow sufficient time for car parking, transfer to terminal, airport procedures (including but not limited to checking-in and security) and any subsequent flight/travel arrangements. For the avoidance of doubt, the Airport shall not be responsible for any passengers who miss their flight.

3.8 Further, the Airport, its servants or agents do not accept liability for: (a) any indirect or consequential loss; or (b) any loss of profit, loss of enjoyment, loss of revenue, loss of data, or loss of earnings.
