There are many accessible airport parking options for older travellers located next to our terminals, as well as Blue Badge spaces. There are lots of Short Stay, Mid Stay and Long Stay parking options at Manchester Airport, depending on the length of your trip.

Our most popular and accessible parking option at Manchester Airport – Meet & Greet is easy, convenient, and gets you to check-in in minutes. A full parking service, all you need to do is pull into a parking bay, drop your keys at reception, and one of our Meet & Greet drivers will take your car to an official and highly secure on-site car park while you’re away.

And when you get back? A Meet & Greet driver will have your car waiting close by upon your return.

Blue Badge parking is also available at JetParks, our budget-friendly parking choice. Located just a short free bus ride (they run every 15 minutes) from the terminals, it’s a great option with wheelchair access.

Blue Badge holders get priority boarding and seating, with dedicated wheelchair points. Our friendly drivers will always help you on and off the bus if you need extra support because of mobility issues.

Your airport experience may begin with parking, but there are lots of other ways we can support your travel experience, too.

We’re here to provide as much or as little assistance as you may need, from getting to your terminal from the car park, to boarding your flight. If you require assistance, you'll need to arrange this with your airline (at least 48 hours before you travel). Your airline or travel agent will pass all of your information to the Assisted Travel Team, so that everything runs smoothly for you on the day.

If you’re travelling with a mobility aid, it will also need to be pre-booked with your airline. This just gives our staff an idea of its dimensions and weight, so that there are no delays when loading it onto the plane.

Our friendly Security Officers can also provide a walking aid to assist you through the Archway Metal Detector, with seating also close by if you need to take a rest.

And if you need to carry liquid medication (this must be accompanied with a medical note or prescription) in your hand luggage, simply let the officer know at the x-ray load area. They can then screen it through special equipment.
