In the Pirita district, along Reidi Road, you’ll discover a two-kilometre-long sandy beach, a river valley, a coastal pine forest and an adventure park. It’s also home to the fascinating Tallinn Botanic Garden which welcomes visitors all year round. Tallinn has a busy annual events calendar, kicking off with the popular Fire and Ice Festival in January-February featuring ice sculptures, fire displays, and a range of artistic workshops. In August, there’s a huge summer dance festival which combines traditional dance with contemporary music. Performances spill out from the theatres and onto the streets.
