Stockport Viaduct restoration works - M60 J27-1 overnight closures

As part of Network Rail’s Stockport Viaduct restoration works, the M60 will be closed overnight between Junction 27 and 1 in both directions for 13 nights. The overnight closure will occur between 22:00 and 06:00, from Monday 17th February to Sunday 2nd March 2025.

A signed diversion route will be in place.

Rail services will not be disrupted during the works.

M56 J5 exit slip closure

National Highways are carrying out essential overnight works on the Westbound M56 J5 Exit Slip. The slip exit at junction 5 will be closed between 21:00 and 05:00 on the nights of Thursday 20th February and Friday 21st February 2025.

Please follow the signed diversion route in place, and allow extra time for your journeys.
