Training for any operative employed to carry out Basic X-Ray Threat Detection duties.
To ensure that all trained operatives understand their roles and responsibilities in relation to Basic X-Ray Threat Detection duties.
To provide X-Ray screener operatives with the relevant basic knowldege and skills to provide effective basic X-Ray threat detection duties in accordance with legislation.
For X-Ray screeners to learn about the context and requirements within which they will operate.
To give an overall awareness of X-Ray machines and their safety issues.
To ensure that trainees can operate X-Ray equipment to a standard which allows them to detect threat / prohibited items reliably.
NOTE – Much of this course will be developed to meet our clients individual needs but also to meet the latest Department For Transport standards. Syllabus will include:
Image Interpretation
X-Ray theory
Recognition of Firearms, Explosives & Prohibited items
Threat image projection
X-Ray Computer Based Training (CBT)
On the job training (OJT)
Mixed learning methods : Face to Face, Practical & Computer Based.
Recommended 2 days - but dependent on individual client requirements
