Simply visit our booking page, enter your departure date, destination, and flight number, and select your party size (max six). A confirmation email with a QR code will be sent to you. If you don’t receive it, check your spam folder or contact us at 0808 168 6222. 

TimeSlot operates daily in Terminal 3 from 04:00 - 07:30 and 10:30 - 15:30. Our system suggests the best slot based on your flight details, usually around two hours before departure. It’s best to follow airline recommendations for your airport arrival time.

Slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. If none are available, you can book FastTrack. To change a booking, you can cancel it and rebook (subject to availability). Changes cannot be made within 75 minutes of your flight.

Present your QR code (printed or on your phone) to a security ambassador along with your boarding pass. Please note that TimeSlot applies only to security and does not cover check-in, baggage drop, or passport control.

If Manchester Airport cancels your TimeSlot due to exceptional circumstances, you’ll receive a full refund. However, we are not liable for missed flights. Please review our terms and conditions for more details.

TimeSlots are available to all passengers departing from Manchester Airport's Terminal 3 in groups up to a maximum of six people. However, this service is not suitable for passengers requiring assisted travel or those travelling with pushchairs or car seats, as you will be automatically directed to the Assistance Lane for security and do not need to book a TimeSlot.

FastTrack Security is available in Terminals 1, 2, and 3, allowing you to breeze through security via an express lane. Starting at just £5.50 per person, it offers flexibility to arrive any time up to three hours before your flight. Bookable up to a year in advance, FastTrack operates daily from 03:00 to 23:00.

TimeSlot is our new service available in Terminal 3. This is a mostly free service (charges may apply during peak times) designed to streamline your journey. Book a fixed time up to seven days before your departure to bypass standard queues and access a dedicated lane with your QR code. TimeSlot is available daily from 10:30 to 15:30, subject to availability.

You can book a TimeSlot from seven days before your departure date and up to 75 minutes prior to your scheduled flight departure time.

Most bookings are free, subject to availability. However, a small charge may apply to some peak-time TimeSlots. Chargeable and free slots are displayed on our booking page. Valid payment methods include MasterCard, VISA and American Express.

After dropping off any baggage at check-in, (or if you have checked in online and do not have any baggage for hold) please proceed to Terminal 3 Departures (security) and follow the signs for Timeslot / FastTrack / Assistance Lane. You will not be allowed to enter the security area earlier than three hours before your scheduled departure time.
