What is Security FastTrack and how does it work?

Nobody enjoys waiting in queues, especially when travelling with small children. FastTrack allows you to skip the long security lines so you can get to the departure lounge sooner. Ideal for solo or business travellers, families and more, FastTrack is open from 03:00 until 23:00 at all terminals. Simply select the date and time of your flight departure to book from just £5.50 per person.

How will I know if my Security FastTrack booking is confirmed?

We’ll send you a confirmation email with your booking details. If you can’t see it in your inbox, please check your junk folder.

How far in advance can I book Security FastTrack?

You can book FastTrack up to a whole year in advance (subject to availability).

Can I book Security FastTrack on the same day as my flight?

Yes! You can book Security FastTrack up to one hour before your departure (subject to availability).

Where is the Security FastTrack lane located at Manchester Airport?

After dropping your luggage off at check-in, head over to Security and follow the signs for the dedicated FastTrack lane. If you’ve checked in online and don’t need to put any baggage in the hold, please make your way to security.

What documents do I need to use the Security FastTrack lane?

You’ll need to show a printed copy of your FastTrack security lane booking confirmation or a screenshot saved on your phone for scanning. You’ll also need your boarding pass.

What are the differences between Security FastTrack and TimeSlot?

FastTrack Security is available in Terminals 1, 2, and 3, allowing you to breeze through security via an express lane. Starting at just £5.50 per person, it offers flexibility to arrive any time up to three hours before your flight. Bookable up to a year in advance, FastTrack operates daily from 03:00 to 23:00.

TimeSlot is our new service available in Terminal 3. This is a free service (charges may apply during peak times) designed to streamline your journey. Book a fixed time slot up to seven days before your departure to bypass standard queues and access a dedicated lane with your QR code. TimeSlot is available daily from 10:30 to 15:30, subject to availability.

Can I cancel FastTrack?

Both Security FastTrack and Passport Control FastTrack are non-refundable.
