TimeSlot allows you to pre-book a time to enter Security at Manchester Airport, reducing wait times. It’s perfect for those organised travellers who like to stick to a schedule. You can book for up to 6 people per reservation.

Simply visit our booking page, enter your departure date, destination, and flight number, and select your party size (max six). A confirmation email with a QR code will be sent to you. If you don’t receive it, check your spam folder or contact us at 0208 163 8001. 

TimeSlot operates daily from 03:00 - 22:00. During the booking process, our system will suggest the best slot options based on your flight details. This is usually around two hours before departure. It’s best to follow the airline recommendations for your airport arrival time.

Slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. If none are available, you can book FastTrack. To change a booking, you can cancel it and rebook (subject to availability). Changes cannot be made within 75 minutes of your flight.

Present your QR code (printed or on your phone) to a security ambassador along with your boarding pass. Please note that TimeSlot applies only to security and does not cover check-in, baggage drop, or passport control. If you're in Terminal 2, head to Security West to find the TimeSlot lanes.

If Manchester Airport cancels your TimeSlot due to exceptional circumstances, you’ll receive a full refund. However, we are not liable for missed flights. Please review our terms and conditions for more details.

If unexpected delays push you outside of your slot, don't worry, speak to a member of staff at the desk who will be able to assist you.

TimeSlot is available to all passengers departing from Manchester Airport in groups up to a maximum of 6 people. It’s perfect for those organised travellers who like to stick to a schedule. However, this service is not suitable for those requiring Assisted Travel, those travelling with pushchairs or car seats, or infants under three years old. Instead, you will be automatically directed to the Assistance Lane for security and do not need a TimeSlot booking.

FastTrack Security is available at Manchester Airport, allowing you to breeze through security via an express lane. If you’re concerned about check-in wait times or bus rides from parking and need that extra flexibility, FastTrack is for you. Starting at just £5 per person, you can arrive any time up to three hours before your flight and fly through security. You can book FastTrack up to 12 months in advance. It operates daily from 03:00 to 23:00.

TimeSlot is Manchester Airport’s new service, operating daily from 03:00 - 22:00. Designed to streamline your journey through the airport, this is perfect for those who are cost-conscious and like to stick to a schedule. Book your preferred time to enter security up to 60 days before your departure, and bypass the standard queues with access to a dedicated lane.

You can book a TimeSlot from 60 days before your departure date and up to 75 minutes prior to your scheduled flight departure time.

TimeSlot bookings are super convenient, ranging from free up to just £4.99! Valid payment methods include MasterCard, VISA and American Express.

After dropping off any baggage at the check-in desks (or if you have checked in online and do not have any baggage for hold), please proceed to Departures and follow the signs for TimeSlot / FastTrack / Assistance Lane. You will not be allowed to enter security earlier than 3 hours before your scheduled departure time.
